We in the U.S. have become a nation of people who have been duped by our own government of professional dupers for several decades running, under the increasing dominion of right wing capitalism. In just over half a century, this cultural evolutionary program has destroyed what was left of Jefferson's world view and the human rights-based democracy which follows therefrom.

The People in the U.S. have been involved in an evolutionary program that reached fruition in the Cheney-Bush administration. It will reach termination with the Cheney-Bush administration as well. It is prophetic, you know. The People have fallen under the dominion of Old Testament Roman criminals.

Since Ronald Reagan began pandering to those of Old Testament religious faith, we in America, as a People, have come to be increasingly under the dominion of and defined by Republican corporate capitalism dedicated to right wing despotism, with little or no interest in the People outside of control thereover.

Reagan's only accomplishment was to overtly bring, for the first time since Jefferson, the Old Testament Roman religious mindset back into U.S. government. With this mindset in place, a rightly religious Cheney-Bush administration has employed fear and ignorance-mongering in the interest of war-mongering. The right wing's self-justification, however, is seen by most people in the world as self-righteousness, belligerence and incompetence. It is, after all, the People's choice.

The right wing and the right wing press remain readily willing to provide credibility to an administration unworthy of any credibility whatsoever. This is an administration which most of the world sees as being dishonest and deceitful, arrogant, "holier than thou", and belligerent on the world stage. Most people in the world understand that the Cheney-Bush administration used lies and fabrications and overt fear-mongering (you know "whatever it takes") to secure control over the United States at the expense of the People.

With the most devastating military in the world under their control, the Cheney-Bush administration took unprovoked military action against an innocent nation, Iraq. Why did they lie? Because without the lies, distortions and fear-mongering, the Cheney-Bush administration would never have been able to pull it off, with control of Middle Eastern oil being an underlying objective. All members of the administration seemed to know that much, and in the interest of presidential power, they went right along with Cheney and Bush and their rampant fabrications.

As it turns out, unprovoked military aggression is considered to be immoral in virtually every belief system on earth, even within the Abrahamic religions, e.g., "Thou Shalt Not Kill". This simple fact and the continuing machinations of the U.S. about the world, as if the world ought quickly get in step behind us, has caused the majority of people in the world to no longer think kindly about those of us living in the U.S. because we no longer resemble anything having to do with being American.

Under the Cheney-Bush administration, we have come to be seen as a pariah nation in the eyes of the world, nothing but a greedy mob of self-righteous, over-consuming, belligerent people who mistakenly think that they ought rule the world. That would be enough to scare the hell out of anybody except the U.S. right wing, a very tiny minority in the world, currently leading the people nowhere that a People would want or need to go.

But, what if the Cheney-Bush administration is not yet done in its desire and efforts to establish a global U.S. hegemony? What if events take place that lead to the utter destruction of the Middle East in something resembling the prophetic "end of times" for the Abrahamic religions and their credibility in the world's political arena? What if the Cheney-Bush administration mucks it up for all of the people in the world? What if a small nation prefers to work for a life less characterized by U.S. greed and corruption?

Have you ever contemplated how much apologizing, all around the world, that the next U.S. President-elect will have to face? It is enough to make one wonder why anyone would even want to be the next president of the U.S.

How does one say that one is sorry for anything so degenerate as the Cheney-Bush administration, which is religious to the point of self-righteousness and belligerence and devoid of human reason to the point of incompetence? How does one apologize for what amounts to an act of overt evil in the world? How does one convince the world that it will never happen again?

Does one explain that dishonest and deceitful men have always managed to work their way to the top of the Old Testament Roman imperial heap? Does one explain that U.S. capitalism is just an updated version of British colonialism and Roman imperialism? Does one explain that we are all victims, of our own self-delusion?

How does one apologize for being a nation of adolescent lamers? How do the people apologize for allowing our own government to come under the right wing dominion of a corrupt corporate America and a corrupt CEO administration? How do we apologize for not caring about and not participating in our own elections? How do we apologize for ignoring the values of our Revolutionary Fathers in favor of right wing greed and power-driven capitalism, which requires one to see the People as an enemy.

Seeing the People as public enemy #1 explains why the right wing U.S. has failed to provide medical and educational needs to the People. In that regard, the people of the European Union envy the people of the U.S. not at all, being already decades more advanced.

How do we apologize for ignoring the reason and compassion from which we were birthed in the minds of Jesus, the Father of Human Rights, and Jefferson, the Father of American Democracy? How do we apologize for being led so far astray from our human beginnings? How do we apologize for that which many find very difficult to forgive?

The burden of apology to be placed upon the next U.S. president-elect assumes that the U.S., yet under the thumb of the Cheney-Bush administration, will not simply bankrupt itself, fiscally and morally, in the eyes of the world prior to elections. The right wing Republican party and the right wing press daily make desperate efforts to justify the Cheney-Bush administration by redefining reality.

The right wing press does so in the interest of maintaining the right wing despotism upon which it is entirely dependent. There is no such thing in the right wing mind as human truth. All discourse is driven by political motivations only, or so they say. Everyone in the U.S. knows where their money comes from.

Ought the rest of the world forgive us, or have we already crossed all human boundaries and lines? Must we continue on as if to fulfill religious prophecy? That end would, after all, discredit religion on a global basis and re-open the doors to human knowledge and human rights. A basis in human knowledge and human rights is what Jefferson had in mind for the American people all along, not so?

Right wing America and the right wing press, knowing nothing of human rights and democracy, are going to have to get real very soon about the Cheney-Bush administration before we reach the point where anything we do is "too little, too late". We may already be at that point. There is no merit in continuing to destroy what Jesus and Jefferson had to offer the world. Give it up, Catholics and Evangelicals. You are only going to wish that you had.

On the other hand, there is such a thing as destiny for cultural world views and it is only appropriate that the western religions are uniformly apocalyptic and prophetic about their own end of times. It may well be that the three major Abrahamic religions will happily drag all of humankind down into its own hell in the Middle East, "never say die".

How do we apologize to the world when nothing in American government has changed for the better but continues to only get worse, because meaningful change is put off by a blind and worthless right wing press as much as by a blind and worthless Congress? If we do nothing as a People, a day will soon come when we will lament doing nothing to impeach the Cheney-Bush administration and eliminate the right wing press, failures one and all in human eyes.

The Cheney-Bush administration already stands as the most corrupt and mindless administration in U.S. history. It could easily come to stand as the last administration in U.S. history, certainly the last right wing capitalistic administration in US. history. The United States must come to be seen once again as being American, a symbol of human rights in the world, not religious hoopla and hypocrisy in government.
